Overview

This course will provide the learner to have a basic understanding of Venapuncture techniques. It is suitable for clinicians returning to these skills, the novice starting out or a practitioner updating their knowledge because they have had no formal training or are responsible for training others.

It is not suitable for people looking to become a qualified phlebotomist from a background of no clinical experience or qualification. This is because it takes more than this course to cover the practical skills and competence which are needed in professional Venapuncture techniques.

Our course works well for delegates who go on to be trained and supported by an experienced team such as professionals found in a phlebotomy department.
