JD Training Solutions provides training in First Aid, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Health and Social Care, Clinical Skills and QCF Diplomas in Health and Social Care.
JD Training has emerged from the understanding of coping with circumstances and difficulties. It is our aim and focus to equip our learners with not only the practical skills but also the core values of initiative and insight in helping those in need and enabling them to carry out their roles with care and competence. We strive to give the best possible training to our customers at extremely competitive rates. Our trainers are highly trained professionals with excellent training qualifications and years of hands on experience within health care and the public sector. Our customers tell us our training is excellent and we believe we are unique in the fact we are always available for post course advice and guidance.
JD Training was established in July 2005 by our Managing Director, Annette Heath (RGN). Sadly at that time we lost a much-loved member of our family Joan Doris Burnett. The company is named after Joan, who was a very special person who always had time for everyone. After suffering a stroke Joan showed strength of character, great courage and determination despite her disabilities. So it is to Joan Doris that we have dedicated the name of our company to, in the hope that we can carry forth her kindness, courage and determination and make JD Training into a business that is always willing to help and go the extra mile for our customers.
Over the past fifteen years, not only has our office and quality of training grew, but so has our team. From our wonderful office staff who are our brains behind the operation - planning courses, venues, and going the extra mile to satisfy our customers - to our amazing trainers, who are consistent in delivering excellent training to our clients. Without our amazing team, JD Training wouldn't be where we are today.

Annette Heath founded JD Training in 2005, starting off being the sole trainer on top of being in charge of a whole company. Though she now has a full office team behind her, as well as numerous trainers of all different expertise, Annette still provides a large amount of training, focusing mainly on bespoke courses that are clinical based, although she is also qualified in teaching First Aid, Basic Life Support, Medication and much more. She also makes the final call on any decisions office-based, as well as making time to network with potential clients, and forming partnerships to help the business grow even further.
In addition to helping the every day goings-on at the office run smoothly, Rebecca also runs Accounts, making sure payments are up-to-date, invoices have been sent out, and bills have been paid. As Centre Manager, she is also in charge of everyday office activity, helping to ensure the centre is running smoothly.
As our head of HR, Sophie is in charge of updating the confidential information of trainers, as well as making sure everything about JD Training is above board and ethical, making sure our customers, clients, and staff are treated fairly. She is also in charge of running and updating the website and newsletter, as well as our Facebook page, Twitter account, and other social media accounts. She is also in charge of running and promoting events, from charity fundraisers, to networking gatherings, as well as a whole host of meetings with clients and partners. On top of this, she also promotes new courses and dates for our more popular training, as well as scoping out the perfect clientele who would benefit from our services.
